Inkling and Me

I must admit, Splatoon is one of the few first-person shooters that I enjoy playing, mainly because it's not so focused on racking up kill counts. For me, I love the teamwork that can occur throughout the matches, especially during turf wars. Turf wars just seemed like such a new concept in a game, so to actually learn about, and take part in them...it was a blast!

Although...I've kinda tried to do squid-dances (rapid changing from kid to squid while jumping)...only to get splatted. XD

The colors are bright and contrast sharply with each other when it comes to the teams and I can't help but love the design of the Inklings and their abilities to change from kid to squid and how they change color according to team colors. Plus, their voices are so adorable. And the music makes me start dancing in my seat as I play, it's so catchy!

So, here is myself and my Inkling OC (named Maia) in the default outfit and hanging out.
In the top right, I just got to meet Moe...yeah, we don't like him. At all.
Below that is a comparison between Me and Maia's facial features. At the bottom right, I'm checking out her awesome tentacles while she's sitting on a ledge.
Turns out, Maia and I love the Squid Sisters' music, so I took a picture of her dancing, as well as a picture of Maia in her squid form. And my poor attempt at recreating the Splatoon logo.  

BEFORE anyone tells me that my OC looks very unoriginal, let me say this. I see myself as a regular person, so Maia in her own way, is like any other inkling.
